The Florence School of Regulation

- The Florence School of Regulation (FSR) is a centre of excellence for independent discussion and knowledge exchange with the purpose of improving the quality of European regulation and policy. They deliver academic research, training and policy events in the areas of energy, climate, transport, and water & waste.

Equal by 30 Commitments
- Gender-balanced visibility and leadership: Ensure at least 40% women representation among speakers and instructors across all FSR online debates, workshops, conferences, events and trainings with yearly monitoring and public reporting.
- Inclusive training opportunities: Continue providing and expanding training scholarships for female professionals and students in the energy, climate, and sustainability sectors, with a goal of maintaining or increasing current levels annually.
- Equitable recruitment and advancement: Promote gender-balanced recruitment and advancement across all FSR teams, projects, categories and levels, striving for gender parity in leadership and coordination roles by 2030, in alignment with EUI diversity policies.
- Mentorship and professional growth: Expand the Energybase, the talent-matching platform, that connects women professionals with organisations and opportunities.
- Awareness and knowledge-sharing: Continue producing and disseminating gender-focused knowledge through blogs, interviews, and public initiatives (such as the LUCE Awards and Ambassador Programme).
- Transparency and reporting: Report annually on progress towards FSR's Equal by 30 commitments, sharing achievements and lessons learned through institutional channels and public communication platforms.
